All our DJs and artists have their own specialties but as a team we pride ourselves on our wide experience of DJing, music and the equipment we use.
This means: All our DJs are musically educated, technically able and dance-floor conscious. We understand the different requirements of Club and Bar DJs. We like to know if you have any special requests regarding style of music, what not to play, even which customers you really want us to keep an eye on and aim the music choices at...

For Example:
1) You won't find one of our boys insisting a track is great "if you just wait for the breakdown," even though the dance-floor is empty.
2) You won't hear one of our staff pushing the volume and tempo to a bar crowd who are happily chilling after work, we play to the people that are there.
3) You will never hear one of our workmen blaming his tools, if we didn't bring our own kit it's because we verified what was available in your venue.

We have provided DJs for main room sets, back room chill-outs or just technical assistance at It's Obvious, The Egg, Back to Basics, Sponge Studios, The Elbow Rooms, Po Na Na, Milo, Normans, Oporto, Jakes, The Fruit Cupboard, The Stylus, The Terrace, The UNI refectory, The Met Uni, The Cockpit, Fibre, Juice amongst others.

Hip Hop, R and B, Funk, Rare Groove, Motown, Disco, Reggae, Dancehall, Breaks, Drum 'n' Bass, Jungle, Grime, House (Funky, Deep, Handbag), Rave (old school), Hardcore, B-Line, Hi-NRG, Electro, 80's, Rock, Indie Rock, Skater Thrash, Metal, Ambient, Turntablist.

Take any combination of the above music styles and we guarantee we can tailor a DJ or a selection of DJs to completely fit the bill. Alternatively browse our DJ list below and if one seems to suit get in touch for a chat.

All our DJs are professionals. We will listen to your input and requirements. The more you clue us into your vision of your club the better we'll do for you.

The founder of Madman Promotions who has played at least one (normally three or four) bar gigs every weekend for the last ten years will bring his un-skippable CD setup and thousands of classic tunes. Having worked in places as diverse as Normans, the Townhouse, Milo, Oporto, N. Bar, the HiFi, The Wardrobe and The Room, Jimmies' musical collection is known to reach right across the board. Nina Simone to Kasabian, Busta Rhymes to Indeep, Gwen Stefani to the Fine Young Cannibals. If it works, he doesn't just play it; he'll mix it, scratch it, loop it and effect it. He takes requests or he reads a room, he plays some pop or he keeps it strictly underground. The most intelligent juke box or the most ego free professional DJ in Leeds? Call it what you will, he keeps the money coming over your bar.

Playing dirty porno funk of all descriptions. Not that “Ally McBeal, isn’t it cool to like funk music” nonsense. I’m talking edgy, sounds like it’s been recorded in a cow shed funk. Not really afraid to play anything though, hip hop, breaks and disco, if necessary.
Formally of Breakers Unify, Capital State, Carpe Diem, Po Na Na’s, Anonymous Groove + more. Currently of Future Funk and The Wall Of Balls sound system.
